Christmas Presents – Reveals II

Tiffany’s Paloma Picasso Bracelets

Okay these are not exactly gifts, but I just took pix of them at the same time along with other presents. I recently lost my blue chalcedony bracelet and Tiffany was gracious enough to offer me a replacement bracelet because I believe their “C-ring” clasp is not the most secure. Then, I brought the bracelets to my local Tiffany’s and had them replace the C-ring clasp into a lobster clasp and also removed a stone cuz the bracelet’s too big. When I got the bracelets back, the lobster clasp is SOOOOO TIGHT! It was painful to open! I can’t believe Tiffany has such a problem with their clasps – they’re either too small and you can’t open them, or not secure enough that you lose the entire bracelet, or now wayyy too tight. I will just hope that with use, the clasp will loosen.

  1. Hi Neil, not too long. Just a few days of waiting. You can also ask for rush service, if you’re time sensitive 🙂

  2. Hi Cecelia,

I know this is an old post, but I just had the same thing happen to me with a Tiffany’s bracelet that I had for less than a month! It just fell off one day, and I have no idea where it is. May I ask how you got them to offer you a replacement? Thanks so much!

  3. Hi Yue, I’m so sorry to hear that about your bracelet! Tiffany should seriously redesign the clasp. For me, I simply contacted their customer service. I don’t have a regular SA at Tiffany’s anymore, but if you do, I’m sure you can speak to one in person as well. Explain to them the situation and I know they have a one time replacement policy 😉 Hope you can get yours fixed soon! Best of luck!

  4. Hi Cecilia! I know this is a pretty old post of yours, but I was wondering whether you know if Tiffany’s might still do this bracelet (Or you know of anyone selling theirs)? I think I’ve lost my blue chalcedony today, it was a gift my partner gave me 3 years ago and I’m feeling absolutely heartbroken that it might be gone. In search of a replacement because I can’t bring myself to admit it’s gone. I agree about the clasp being rubbish!

  5. Hi Kaniz, I’m so sorry to hear that you’ve lost yours! 🙁
I just checked USA and Canada, it seems like the blue chalcedony bracelet is no longer available. Actually the entire Paloma Picasso bead collection seems to be discontinued for which its design originated. I’m actually not wearing mine at all, and I’m willing to sell. I will send you an email.
