Jimmy Choo 2009-2010

JC SS09 Colorado Heels in Smoke Patent Leather

– Purchased in 2009
– My first pair of Jimmies and they’re my favorite work shoes! So comfy and stylish! I always get compliments on the striking, unexpected green heel. After 2 years of wearing them quite frequently (about once every 2-3 weeks), the beige part of the patent leather is turning yellow…

JC SS10 Quiet Heels in Patent Leopard

– Purchased in 2010
– I love the tiny glitter on the patent leather. Really beautiful pair of heels and they’re very similar to my CL Lady Claude in tortoise patent leather (please forgive me if sometimes I get confused and mention these JCs also with tortoise pattern lol). I like the look of JC’s better, but in terms of comfort, I prefer CL’s. The weird thing with JCs is that their work shoes are so comfortable, but anything that’s more than 3 inches, they tend to go on a really high and awkward pitch. So unless you have a super high arch, they become more difficult to walk in.

JC SS10 Glenys Heels in Patent Natural Elaphe Snakeskin

– Purchased in 2010
– Love these strappy heels! I’ve been eyeing this style for a while now with the original being a mid-forest green patent Elaphe snakeskin color that was featured in major magazines (see pic below). Various other materials and textures were made since then. My only issue with these shoes is that the zipper is really user UNFRIENDLY! They’re really difficult to zip up and it’s not because of my foot. The zipper drives me nuts on its own, then I’m afraid that the dainty tab will break! I’ll have to find time to wax it eventually.

JC SS10 Palm Cork Wedge Heels in Denim Fabric with Studs

– Purchased in 2010
– Great for the summer and I love the studs! I wore these back to China and walked in them for hours shopping around with no problem. The heel is really high, but given that it’s a wedge, they’re really comfortable.

JC SS10 Phyllis Espadrilles in Turquoise Patent Leather

– Purchased in 2010
– These JC classics are another pair of summer shoes that I frequently wear. The pitch isn’t as high as the above Palm wedges, but the vamp runs really high. So after a while my distal metatarsals kinda start to cramp. They’re still one of the first shoes I run to just cuz they’re so easy to get in and out of in the summer.
