Casual Jimmys

Jimmy Choo FW15 Darylin Black Suede Flats

Although Tamara Mellon left JC recently, I’m starting to like all the refreshing styles from the new creative director Sandra Choi! The brand finally feels right again returning to its roots and it’s so nice to see another Asian designer these days! Keep up the good work!!! I haven’t purchased any Jimmys in a long time, but I like their shoes for work and casual wear. The mid-heeled shoes are very conservative and comfy at the same time to be worn all day in a conservative office. As for their flats and wedges, I love to wear them in the summer. I’ve been looking for a pair of simple pair of pointed black flats that can be worn for both work and casual days. However I’m picky and simple flats that sound easy to purchase are actually hard to find in a cute style that I like. These d’Orsay cut flats are so chic and simple that I couldn’t resist purchasing them during the Net-a-Porter sale.

I may seem like I’m an all heels girl, but I love to dress down too.
Some pix over the last few months that I haven’t posted yet:

Shopping in Moncler jacket, Céline bag, Hermès CDC bracelet, Rag & Bone jeans and Team Louboutin T-shirt. I may be dressed casual, but hopefully the cute T-shirt, which was a gift from a friend (she designed it herself!), makes up for some lost glam!

Dressed comfy when traveling in J Crew sweater, J brand jeans, Prada high-tops, Céline bag, and LV luggage.

Below I was super excited to take out my new Mansur Gavriel tote, and I’m in a pair of Vince jeans with Prabal Gurung for Target flats!

We’re at this fabulous restaurant where I possibly had the best French toast ever in apple sauce, chantilly cream, candied walnuts, and toasted toffee crunch pieces! Hmmm… We couldn’t decide if we should do more of a breakfast or lunch for brunch, so we each ordered both! lol

Lastly, a close up shot of my favourite loafers from Prada! I wear these everywhere and they’re so comfy! The bright blue gets me so many compliments every time I wear them out. Thanks for letting me share again folks. I have more posts and reveals coming, stay tuned 😀

  1. 1. Love the flats. I have a pair from L.K. Bennett that are similar but a little higher (wedge).

    2. Sandra Choi has always been the one in the background designing for her uncle Jimmy Choo with Tamara Mellon who ended up pushing the marketing but also helping with ideas. She isn’t a “new” designer to the brand, she was there from the start, it’s just nice to see her take the helm and have her name recognized.

    Tamara wrote all about it.
